| - Overall, I've had a great experience here at Crossroads. The ladies in the office are great and always willing to answer any questions with a smile on their face. Only reason why I'm moving is because I changed employers and the commute is just too much.
I've been here since July '14, reserved the apt online before looking as I was coming from NY for a job relocation on such short notice. Ruthanne helped me pick a great 2br. Great location on the property (even though an Indian family likes to let their screaming kids run around while dad yells "1,2,3" for hours on end at 11pm once in a while).
THICK WALLS - I haven't heard a peep from my neighbors the whole time!
NO BUGS - coming out to AZ i was worried about bugs, but nope, not here
Great AC systems. Older building but it's fine. Worth the price for sure.
ONLY BAD THINGS - moved in to a worn, matted down, carpet with dark spots. Not a huge deal, and I had nowhere else to go and didn't want to be uprooted so i let it go at first. But, after a night or two I started waking up w allergies. Must've been a cat. They charge $250 per animal plus 30 a month, presumably to replace the carpet, clean ducts, etc. If the previous tenant stayed for 12 months, that's over $600 pocketed by the management company. For nothing.
Fortunately I was told that I won't be charged for the carpet to be replaced upon move out because it's over 5 years old (and they've probably already made $3k on pet fees for it.) We'll see what happens though. If no update, assume all went well!
Oh, and while we're on the mgmt company, don't even think of being late on a payment!
That's all, I truly will miss this place!
