  • What a nice oasis in the middle of the city! Toured the greenhouses and was amazed by the variety of plants! You forget you're in the city while walking through...you can breathe and enjoy some peace and serenity despite the hustle and bustle of the city just outside the greenhouse walls. There is is a garden in the back with plants, both aesthetic and edible. Plenty of sitting spaces and nice garden ornaments. This area is gated and you are open to the surrounding park and streets but it still makes for a nice place to sit, relax, and enjoy the garden. The staff is mixed, some are nice and seem elated to have their job (which seems like a dream job to me!) while others not so much. During our visit, one if the workers felt it necessary to yell at a visitor and make her feel very unwelcome. No matter the situation, one can always behave civilly, especially in such a peaceful and serene setting. Met some nice people here who visit regularly and enjoy the ever-changing plants!
