When asking the hotel concierge what was the best steakhouse in town, they said Gibby's. After securing a reservation for us, we took an Uber and we were so excited from the moment we saw the charming restaurant. The stone building held the traditions of a great restaurant.
The menu is full of choices but it seemed clear to us to get the additional lobster tails with our steak which based on pictures on Yelp and our server, it was good enough for 2 people. The steak was a little more well done than the medium rare we ordered but it was good nonetheless. The lobster was tender and came on top of rice which we did not order but accompanied the lobster well. The baked potato with all the fixins already blended together in the potato is worth trying.
It was my birthday and it was so sweet when our server took a picture of me and gave it to me in a Gibby's picture holder. I will not forget this delicious celebratory meal in such a historic atmosphere, friendly staff and wonderful food.
