Yeah, no.
I went on 12/5 while waiting for a friend to get off work. I decided on 6 so I could share when I got home. I kept it simple a d got chocolate chunk, snickerdoodle, and M&M. The employee (who could be the owner) was a nice guy and there was a decent variety but wow. These cookies are NOT good.
They were WAY too light in color. I thought I was being overly critical because I'm a pastry chef and I think cookies should have a certain aesthetic so I let it go. When I finally had one, I realized I was right. The chocolate chunk cookies were HORRIBLE. The chocolate chunks were bitter and the cookie dough itself wasn't sweet enough to compliment the bitterness. It was too dark. The cookies were severely underbaked. snickerdoodle was tolerable bc I dont mind a slightly underbaked snickerdoodle. I feel the same about the M&M. Though neither of those two were anything to write home about, they were not nearly as underwhelming as the chocolate chunk.
The mark was missed. These cookies could've been delicious. the $12 was worth spending to know not to spend another dime here.
