rev:text	The BEST fish market in Toronto! I have signed up for yelp for the sole purpose of sharing a few kind words about this place. My boyfriend and I live (dangerously) close to it and although we don't go as often as we'd like (I live the poor student life, unfortunately), every time we go we're blown away by the food and the service! The fish and chips and mussels poutine have been our favourites (fish and chips EASILY the best we've ever had, and the house made tartar sauce is ridiculously delicious--we always ask for extra). We do also try to expand our horizons and try new things and we have NEVER been disappointed--we've also bought fresh mussels and scallops for romantic date-nights to make at home and they have been absolutely divine! In terms of the service, chef Anthony and his wife are just the nicest people!!! They obviously care so much about what they do, and they do it oh so well. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very homely and familial and never fails to put us in a good mood. In response to Mitch D's one star review, chef Anthony has a lovely singing voice and the market is in fact very clean and well taken care of :), so I truly hope one poor review doesn't discourage anyone from coming to the market! The price is a little bit steep but it's very much worth it (maybe the market could increase customer traffic with coupons? :) If you've been on the fence about trying the fish street market, do yourself a favour and try it, it'll be the best decision you ever make--I know it sounds as though I'm exaggerating but I can't emphasize enough how wonderful this place is!!!!!!!!
