Wish there was a zero star option! Where should I start on this review!!!!!
I bought a groupon without checking Yelp reviews, that was my first mistake.
Brought in my iPad Air showed the girl at the counter my groupon everything was put into the system and I was told it would be ready the next day which was a Saturday. They call me Saturday less than an hour before they closed so I had to wait until Monday to get my iPad. When I came in to get my iPad the girl went and got it and handed it to me and actually thought I was going to take it. It had this black gunk all around the edges. I asked her what this was and she did not know. Ok why have someone working the front of your store that has no clue on what she is doing? She went in the back and came back and said it was the glue. I told her I was not taking the iPad as it looked like my 3 year old fixed it. So she takes it into the back and the guy hiding back there tries to scrape the glue off and then hands it back to me. Then when I try to press the home button it does not work very well. I finally demanded the guy hiding in the back come out. He comes out trying to tell me that the "other guy" who worked on Saturday did that. He then tells me that they will keep it and fix it for me.
Next day......I pick up the iPad and the screen is not glued onto the iPad very well. Guy tells me to give it a few days and it will seal. Ok, I'll give it a shot (big mistake) So I put the case on the iPad and I'm on my way. All of a sudden about a week before the 30 day warranty is up the home button sinks into the iPad and a small crack appeared on the bottom of the screen. I call the main office and ask how to get this fixed with the warranty but I don't want the same people touching my iPad. The guy in the main office tells me I probably dropped it!!!! W.T. actual F! I did not. I just want my iPad fixed right. He then tells me I need to bring it to the main office and if I didn't bring it in that day I would have to wait a few days to bring it in as he would be off. Well by then the warranty would be over and first thing out of his mouth would have been that. I'm not playing that game. He also said that if I didn't have the paperwork it would be up to him to honor the warranty. This was after I asked the girl at the location for a receipt and she told me it was in the computer and I didn't need a receipt for the warranty.
Now the screen has completely cracked and it has not been dropped. Going to take it to a place that actually has good ratings so now I'm out more money thanks to this horrible place.
Please if you value your electronics take it somewhere else!!!!
