I am giving this place a 2. First off, I came here because of a groupon and wanted to bring along my mom so that she can experience it as well. The lady who took care of us was pretty nice and helpful. Paid what she wanted, a total of $14 along with the $25 groupon for two. The whole process was great at the beginning until the teaching part of the climbing. I've climbed before but never announced I was an expert or even remember everything just because someone has said they have climbed before does not mean they know what they are doing. So, it's been two years since I've visited here. My first experience was great because our teacher was extremely friendly and patient but this time around I believe we had one of the owners teach my mom and I how to tie the knots, etc. First off, I was already frustrated on how he would nope that's not it, and it seemed like he was scolding me and frustrated, then he marks, "I thought you've climbed before." I was patient with his attitude and respected him because he was probably tired but if he wants business he shouldn't be teaching. Then he teaches my mom and my mom is an older person and needed the help she needed and he was just so impatient with her and nodes no. If he has no patience to those who cannot understand his teaching then he should hire someone who is willing enough to take their time. I paid money for your lesson, the least he could of done was teach me and make sure that it was in a positive way.
The experience was good. The gym was very quiet and had no life. There was no music, and no workers around to check on people. I won't ever come to this place again until I see new management or some sort of improvements because from the comments I see "this guy" was rude. I wonder who could it be? At least show respect and that you want your customers there not want to shut the door on you. Never again because of one person's attitude.
