| - I had a bad experience. I know I did. I purchased a used civic from Len. The car is great and we got a deal, but it was how things ended that put a bad taste in my mouth.
First, the drivers side door was missing the lock. Not an issue. Len said we could get it replaced.
To save some money Len suggested we get it certified ourselves. We did. And we saved some money. All good, right?
When we told him how much the certification cost, he couldn't believe it! He was angry that it cost so little. He was legitimately angry, and if you have ever met this guy you know he is an angry dude. He routinely swore at people when he was helping us. Dropping F bombs everywhere.
Anyway, he gives us the keys, walks us to the car. That's when I remember the lock is missing. I turn to ask him about it, and he is waiting to say, with a smirk..."as-is final sale".
Hey, I'm not angry. I should have remembered to ask. We put in a new lock, which ate into our savings a little, but it was that look he gave us. Len. I will never forget that guy.
