| - I wanted to make one of my last stops in Montréal memorable- by bringing home a box of chocolates. I don't mean the processed, sugary, chocolate-covered, Maraschino cherries. And nor, do I mean Russell Stovers. Puh-lease!
Located right in Marché Atwater, Privilège is decently sized with several café tables and shelves stocked with Chocolate gift sets and mugs. And Chocolate display cases, were filled with Truffles in classic and unexpected flavors, Ganaches, decadent Caramels and oh gosh...so many others.
Price point? They were neither cheap- nor sky-high. But just so you know, even a box of 9 like I bought, is gonna cost you a bit more than a box of Godiva "fine chocolates". As for my Hot Chocolate, I asked the dreaded question about preparation and Boom!!! I liked what I heard.
Chocolate is my passion and I can't help it. I know what I got myself into-the second I stepped inside Privilège and that scent of their rich cacao- (literally) hugs you. Privilège has a real nice bunch and chocolates were splendid. But right now, their Hot Chocolate, won out!!!
