  • I live nearby and saw this hair salon ad pop up on Facebook, and then I found out it's opened by Hiroki. I've been going to him back at Chura and sadly thought he left for Montreal, but he's back with a great location on Bay & College. Currently they have 20% off for their opening special until end of the month, so at $44 with the discount it's reasonable price - and given the location and me saving TTC tokens in going to this place, I may continue to visit here despite the higher price. First, the online booking is so easy and convenient - although I wish there's a link with the Vagaro booking tool to create event in iCalendar instead of forcing download of their app, but that is minor issue. This place is very open concept, bright and airy - feel like those loft style condos. Their website says it offers free drinks, but perhaps it's Sunday night and there's no drinks available? Anyways, minor issue which can easily be fixed by water cooler and/or tea machine. Now the haircut, first Hiroki provides sort of consultation with what hairstyle I wanted at the chair - I'm a firm believer that a good hair stylist knows what hair style suits your face and would provide suggestions - which Hiroki did for my hair :) Then a hair wash, like other Yelpers have mentioned, it's comfortable washing chairs. The haircut was done nicely and there was blowdry and style at the end. All in all I think it took 45 minutes? I'm definitely happy with my new haircut.
