The staff is very friendly, but I do not think the food is worth the price.
Shrimp Tempura, although pretty, felt a little rubbery and dry.
Karaage was a little soggy and oily. You can still see sheen of oil on a soggy crust in my pic.
Unagi Nigiri was OK. The Jojo Roll was OK as well. I had issues with the rice being chewy.
Other dishes we had were the Yakitori, Kushiyaki, and Sliced Beef Tongue. All were just OK again.
Hamachi Kama was cut into two pieces and dry. The process of a protein going from done to shrinking and expelling its moisture can happen in as little as a couple of minutes. It's not something I expect when paying a professional establishment to cook my food for me.
Timing was an issue with the last two dishes. Hamachi Kama came out last and a good 12 minutes after the previous dish which came out 13 minutes after the previous dish.
