  • I was actually surprised that my friend told me that the Mexican food in Phoenix was meh at best. Definitely not what I was expecting to hear given that there is a decent amount of Mexican people in Phoenix. Welps, after coming here, I can see why he said that. Got some carne asada/al pastor fries...eh, it was functional at best since I was starving and was ok with decent enough Mexican food. Neither the carne asada nor al pastor were particularly spectacular. Good enough...that's about all I have to say.
