  • absolutely terrible customer service. these people seem incompetent and even though it's a 5 minute walk away from me, i will not use them or recommend them to anyone. so i called on monday to get my keyboard changed on my laptop. the woman on the phone interrupts me and says "yeah ok, that's $90 plus tax". alright, no big deal, she probably hears this issue all the time. she tells me to email someone named Nikita my computer information so she can check to see if she has the part. she says it will take a few days to get in but they will call me once the keyboard comes in. her timeline is 3-4 days for the part, and 1-2 hours for the labour. ok fair enough. i email her immediately. my laptop is my primary computer and it's a hell of a nuisance not being able to type on my keyboard. i'm pretty dependent on my laptop especially for work, like most ppl are, so i was really counting on this company to come through and call me back sometime that week. however i did not hear from them. Friday i call and a man answers the phone, tells me that he didn't get my email!! He said he will check for the part. he takes my name and is going to hang up on me without even taking my phone number. i asked him "aren't you going to call me back?...um you should take my number". he realizes his amateur mistake and takes my number. i don't hear from his again. saturday i call back, the person i spoke to on the phone tells me to call another number - the guy who orders the parts and speak to him directly. i call the number. and the woman i spoke to originally picks up. i tell her the situation, she takes my info, puts me on hold and says that she's going to check for my email. she comes back and says that low and behold, they DID get my email. it seems like this Nikita person is in the room, and instead of providing any type of service on the phone, she says that this guy is going to email me "like right now, in the next 5 to 10 minutes" of course, as you have probably guessed, i have not heard from them. despite a follow-up email i sent this afternoon. i gave my information to 3 different people, sent two emails to receive no response at all. there is no excuse for someone not calling or emailing me back to at least let me know what's going on. what a crock of a business. i wasted a week waiting for their response! imagine not being able to use your home computer for a week . non-existent customer service, giving me the run around. if they have no intention on fixing my laptop, if it's too small of a job, then don't offer it on your website and at least be upfront about it. had i known i would have contacted other computer repair shops at the same time.
