  • My girlfriend and I made a recent shopping trip to the Biltmore. There are only a few stores that we can actually afford clothes from at the Biltmore (Macy's, bebe, Banana Republic), but hey, we want to rub elbows with the rich folks, so we like to browse Saks, Ralph Lauren and Cartier on occasion. Believe it or not, on this last shopping trip we actually did stop in Escada and buy something. Granted it was a $70 bottle of their moon sparkle perfume - but hey it was something! We had a ball in the store trying on sunglasses, purses, belts and jackets, but only left with the perfume. Well, the stores credit card machine was down that day and they had to take down our address and write us a hand written receipt. A few days later the saleslady mailed us a hand written note that said, "It was so nice to see you young ladies feel so at home and enjoy the store. Come back and see us soon!" That was such a nice and personal touch and if I ever win the lotto I will be sure to stop back in and give Escada my biz. 5 stars for great service!
