This is a warning to any first-timers thinking about booking their first appointment at Toronto Bodyworks: My first appointment was cancelled, without any prior notice, because their payment policy wasn't made clear to me when I booked via email.
I've never had to provide my credit card details days in advance of an appointment. So when I was told via email that I had to provide payment details before my appointment, I naturally assumed they meant the day of the appointment.
When I called the day before my appointment to confirm the time and provide payment details, I was surprised and extremely disappointed to discover that my appointment had been cancelled days ago. What's worse, nobody bothered to call or email me to tell me this was going to happen. I was told this is standard practice at Toronto Bodyworks for first timers.
While I understand this policy prevents no-shows, it's unfortunate that the person making the appointment didn't take more care to be absolutely clear about this policy. They appear to be more concerned with your money than your well being.
