  • I stumbled across this restaurant after the bistro across the street where I was planning to eat lunch was unexpectedly closed. First off, if you are in a rush, this is not your ideal restaurant. Everything is made to order, and the dishes are as authentic-Italian as it gets. The pasta bolognese was delicious, but be warned, if you are hungry, get the dinner portions. Lunch size portions are very small. This is a family owned restaurant, and the son was our waiter while his father cooked all the food. Again, so authentic that they didn't even speak English to each other in the kitchen, all Italian, all the time. I highly recommend this restaurant for some quality Italian, especially in a town like Madison.
