Last month I stopped by the store to do something as easy as make a payment. The clerk that helped me was nice enough and quite apologetic after ten minutes of not having success with his computer (at Best Buy of all places). After another five minutes customer service instructed him to call a number where five minutes later he obtained an "Approval Code" for me. Of course my statement comes today and the payment is not showing. So I called the 888 customer service number. Another twenty minutes of my life wasted with no result. They knew nothing about what an "Approval Code" was supposed to do for them. It still is up to me to have the payment I already made credited to my account. That plus getting the $27 late charge refunded. What a headache doing business with this company provides! There is no wonder Best Buy continues to be on everyone's short list of companies soon to go under. The 888 representative treated me more like a criminal rather than a customer, all over an issue they created. I did do one good thing. I closed my credit account with them and vowed never to shop there again. Life is too short to deal with such a poorly run business.
