| - We've lived at the Grand for less than a year, but I love it here. The staff is GREAT and go out of their way to make sure that my family is happy here.
While being here I've seen a lot of nonsense from inconsiderate residents, but I don't expect the staff of the Grand to have to manage adult misbehavior. (For example, those pet owners who don't clean up, or the people who feel that it's ok to take their dog into the pool area when clearly posted signs prohibit that.
The airplane noise isn't anything to complain about as a resident here, because you know about this BEFORE you move in.
This property is perfectly located within a neighborhood called "Paradise" because that's how I feel about being at home. I have to add, however, that the Las Vegas Grand Apartments are WAAAYYYY too nice for what's surrounding it.
The Grand is walking distance from grocery stores, a mall, very nice restaurants, the Thomas and Mack Center, and is just about a mile or so from the Las Vegas Strip.
I really appreciate that the Grand has great amenities, the rooftop pool and hot tub area with several cabanas, the bbq grills, tennis and basketball courts, the business center, the fitness/yoga area, the courtyards, and the recreational room where we have events for the residents. I appreciate those events more than I can say, thank you to our concierge Ashley for all of her effort in planning those for us.
I want to mention the leasing agent Rhonda, she REALLY knows her stuff, and is a take care of business person if I've ever met one.
I'm grateful for Assistant Manager Felicia, she is friendly and always helpful.
There is a woman who does some housekeeping, I think. I don't know her name but her big smile is unforgettable, I'm grateful for her service here too.
When you need anything taken care of you'll meet Rex. He's professional, and courteous, and just seems to be able to handle any issue. He certainly has had to for us. I can't ever say that I've encountered a nicer guy in his position.
My favorite part of my apartment is the super cool bathtub (separate shower stall). My kitchen is awesome, and not typucal of what you'd see in an apartment, but I have what most units don't.
We plan on being at the Grand for years. I do wish that the rent was adjusted to be comparable to this neighborhood and not to other similar properties, but if the rent were bargain basement rates then just anyone could get in. I feel like we're the cool kids... LOL
I only put 3 stars because nothings perfect, but I sincerely LOVE it here.
