The exhibit shows Warhol's most recognizable pieces including portraits of Marilyn Monroe, Mao, Mickey Mouse,a few of the the artist's iconic Campbell's Soup Cans. The show has over 120 prints and paintings on view from the Revolver Gallery. It is on until Dec. 31st 2015.
It is only 5 minutes walk from the Bloor subway station so very easy to get to. You can't miss it there are bright statues in the window display. Tickets are $10 for a general admission with discounts for students and seniors. A very small gift stand is also available
Came here on a Sunday afternoon around 4pm. It wasn't busy but there were people walking around. It is a great collection of his work, lots of colour and variety. They also play a documentary about him. There are bold black and white stripes on the floor and shiny silver couches and a wall of soup cans. Photography is allowed just no flash.
It was only 1 room full so it was smaller than expected, you can probably finish the exhibit in under an hour even if you read all the descriptions of work. But its worth just lounging on the shiny couches and watch a bit of film to make that $10 worth a little more
