Good but not worth $40 for the buffet dinner ($37.95 before tax). Thought I'd try Wynn buffet again since I wasn't that impressed last year and it continues to get good reviews on Yelp. But just like last year, it didn't live up to its hype.
Decent - Alaskan king crab legs, large shrimp, prime rib, pizza (altho crab legs needed more flavor -dip into butter)
Just okay - most of everything else. Lots of dessert selections including homemade ice cream but nothing blew me away.
Wimpy - they used to have a lot more sushi. This time the sushi rice was mushy and they barely had california and veggie rolls. Horrible sushi, esp given it's the Wynn. Reminded me of Costco refrigerated sushi.
Terrible - Different types of fish were hard and overcooked. I used the thong to try to break a small piece of salmon off another larger piece, but the fish was so hard that I couldn't.
Bottom line: I'm sticking with the Bellagio buffet.
