My grandmother was buried in the cemetery this past Friday. It was a blazing hot day however they cemetery did have a covered area for us to stand. They also provided cold water for us. They had three Navy officers in full uniform (they were troopers in this heat in those long polyester uniforms) standing facing the hearse where my grandmother was still residing. One of the officers also had a trumpet looking instrument. The navy did a wonderful job from start to finish as well even the presenting of the flag. The desert landscape is kept immaculate. They literally buried my grandmother in 20 mins and made it look like nothing had been disturbed. They made handling every so easy. The one thing is the directions need to be corrected on this site or perhaps it's mapquests error. If you are heading north from the 101, be sure to make a right on Pinnacle Peak then another right into the cemetery.
