| - Not sure how this place has 4 stars? I've been here a couple of times, I'm a local and love sushi. I'm never impressed by the service, ambience, menu or the food quality. There are so many great sushi places in Vegas my advice is to skip this one.
The Tomato Heirloom Salad ($13), is not even heirloom tomatoes :( You get a rainbow of cherry tomatoes, which haven't even been properly prepped and dressed for restaurant quality (think backyard bbq style).
The nigiri is sold as individual pieces, not in sets of two. This is ok if it's above average nigiri but it was just average. Similar quality as an AYCE. So $12 for two pieces of tuna is disappointing. (And yes I get that it's on The Strip, which is why I also expect better than your neighborhood sushi spot)
The Kumamoto oysters ($5) were good (thank you Mother Nature). Only one wasn't detached. The ponzu jelly is a total umami bomb in your mouth, I highly recommend these!
Overall I give this a 2 rating because of the price; and I'm not cheap. I love food, menus, ordering; everything about the dining experience. But I also like to get the value of what I'm spending and for these prices I suggest Yellowtail (Bellagio), Nobu (Ceasars), or Morimoto's (MGM). You'll be so much happier with your experience and the food.
