  • Came here for a work social and I had a great time. It's in a residential area so you see a lot of locals (who are maybe regulars?) here. The service was excellent; our server was able to remember the orders of twenty people including which credit card was theirs. The Abbot was also quite accommodating to our group; we were a large group and they moved tables so that we would all sit in a circle (great for conversation). It was around nine when I came here so I already had dinner, but would love to try out their meals here. The menu looks pretty good. The drink menu is quite extensive with heaps of beers on tap. I wasn't in the mood for a beer so just ended up getting a glass of Riesling. There are a couple of television screens so it's a good place to go on game nights. My colleagues who are hockey fans were able to catch the Leafs game. Good for: drinks, pub grub
