Missed papers, with promised credit to our credit card - never happened. The customer service reps argue with the customer, in this case, my husband, and they don't do what they say that they'll do. He asked for a manager/supervisor, who was just as bad as the ignorant person that answered the phone, who was completely unintelligible. At least the so-called manager was easy to understand in her communication.
End result --- COMPLETE CANCELLATION OF THE PAPER. No follow up call, to ask us what can they do, to bring us back as a customer. Customer service does NOT care about the customer - sad!!
My FINAL complaint is Howard Seftel's constant reviews of obviously his favorite place - The Barrio Cafe. Endless reviews, and all so favorable. Enough to make me never go there, in my lifetime. Such complete and unadulterated adoration for the owner and her establishment. Hey Howard (thank goodness you are gone from there...), guess what? There are A LOT more restaurants in the valley, than the Barrio Cafe, and their food is really good, and are getting patronized by us. Enjoy your daily (complimentary??) meal at the Barrio Cafe.
ADDING ON: CANCELLING THE PAPER, WILL RESULT IN ENDLESS PHONE CALLS, MORNING AND NIGHT. THEN THEY CHANGE NUMBERS, THAT THEY CALL FROM. THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR YEARS.
