| - The hotel is nicely located so that you can reach various points of interest with ease. The roadways to and from the hotel are easy to navigate. There are many food and drink locations within 5-6 minutes. Parking was easy and seemed safe.
The hotel staff was friendly, at least the ones I dealt with. I stayed there three nights (Fri-Sun). The breakfasts were decent enough. But nothing fancy. The rooms were generally well situated and quiet. I don't remember hearing any noise except maybe one person walking down the hallway that was talking loudly, or the chirp of a car door alarm. I was on the third floor.
The things I found mildly irritating were that the room keys failed to work three times. They blamed it on me saying I placed my key to close to my phone. However, I had another key that I left in the room. That key was never near a phone and it stopped working as well. So they clearly were the cause. The first room they tried placing me in was missing the door's weatherstripping. From the hallway you could look in through the 1/4" crack and see the tv. I noticed two other rooms like that. They said they would fix it and I said, "Umm, no, get me another room, I'm not waiting around for maintenance when I haven't even placed my bags down". The bath tub drain was slow to drain and would get at least 2" of standing water while I showered. I told them about it on checkout because I didn't want maintenance poking around while I was there. They said, "Oh, yeah, with the renovations the plumbing is slow like that". There are no bathroom vent vans, so steam and smells linger. The room phone was white, but actually looked stained yellow. It had the appearance of something you would see stained by nicotine. Maybe it was just age, but it seemed dirty. The bed pillows are small and square. I needed to basically sleep with two of them.
I would probably stay there again, but I would just check the minor issues first before accepting the room.
