My husband and I like to do Vegas staycations a few times a year and so far The Venetian has been my favorite. Staying at The Venetian gave me a new perspective on the property despite the many times I've been here for meals or shopping.
The check-in process was easy and the line moved quickly. The front desk area was easy to find, but it was a hike from the parking garage (typical for on strip properties). Major plus, The Venetian is not charging for parking. I'm all about giving my money to the properties that have not gone to parking fees!
We stayed in a suite in The Venezia Tower and loved our room. The walk from the front desk to the room involved two different elevators and a lot of walking. Other than that everything was perfect. The room was clean and large with plenty of space to spread out and relax. The bed was very comfortable. Most importantly, the room was quiet and I didn't hear any noise from surrounding rooms. It didn't get noisy until the morning when the cleaning staff arrived. The only thing oddly missing was a "Do Not Disturb Sign" and the cleaning staff didn't knock before trying to open the door.
The Venetian/Palazzo offers everything a hotel guest would need. Someone could stay here for a week and never leave the property. This property has one of the largest restaurant selections ranging from fine dining to quick service food court spots. At least half a dozen restaurants on property are chef restaurants. There are several coffee shops and a couple of bakeries. Between the two properties there is plenty of shopping. Of course on site they have a casino, spa, and pools as well. Entertainment options include about half a dozen show options like Rock of Ages and Human Nature. Low key options are also available like Madam Tussaud's and gondola rides. The property is beautifully decorated so it would be entertaining to just walk the property.
