Weiss offers breakfast, lunch and pastry goods and seems to be frequented by many locals. It was pretty crowded when I came in during lunch time and I almost felt claustrophobic getting packed into the small restaurant. The service was pretty slow but there were many customers to serve. I ordered the "The Dip" which is the French Dip Sandwich with roasted beef served with au jus reduction for dipping. The good thing about this place was that the portions are huge! I could only finish half of my sandwich. The bad thing was that after a while, it got very tiring to eat the dipped sandwich since the flavors were pretty bland. I didn't have much of an appetite to finish the rest of my sandwich either.
My boyfriend also tried their 10 oz. Burger, which he ordered medium rare but it really came out as medium. It was dry and not juicy at all. The fries were also average, nothing spectacular.
The prices are on the high end for sandwiches ($12-15). Given the lack of flavor, price, and slow service, I don't think I'll go out of my way to go back anytime soon. But if you're into huge portions and a wide variety of sandwiches, this is the place for you.
