Came here for a work lunch. Luckily they take reservations as they were packed and our table of 5 may have not gotten a seat without one.
I wasn't thrilled by their menu and really only expected mediocre pub fare. With a lack of veggie options my choices were pretty limited, but I settled with a veggie burger and upgraded my fries to a greek salad.
My meal, although appearing quite sad on the plate, was surprisingly really good! The veggie burgers was one of the best I've had and the salad was delicious. Only weird thing was they gave us no condiments for the burger! My colleague also got a burger combo and he got no condiments either.
I would have asked but the servers never came around... which leads to the fact that the service here isn't great. The servers here kind of act like fast food restaurant servers where you can see they are in a constant rush and just trying to get things done. They didn't make small talk nor were they overly friendly (not rude, just rushed and impersonal). They never came to check on our table throughout the meal which I usually don't care but would have really loved some toppings for my undressed burger....
Prices a bit high for what you get but as expected considering where they are located.
I was happy enough with the food (my colleagues all liked their dishes too) and not too fussed with the poor service, but probably won't hurry back as the major drawback is that this place is REALLY LOUD. Like, you cannot even hear yourself talk. We spent our lunch there yelling at each other trying to communicate and eventually gave up. I guess I wouldn't have minded as much if i was there for drinks (where you end up yelling as well and communicating poorly after a while lol) but if it is a lunch where you want to talk with the people you came with, this isn't the place.
