I was really disappointed with Camp Bow Wow Westlake. I boarded my dog and my sisters dog for 3 days and 2 nights. This was my very first experience with boarding. When I picked up the dogs I was shocked to see how dirty and smelly they were. Clancy's paws and face were yellow and he smelled like urine. Sophie wasn't as bad but that's probably because she's black so I couldn't see any discoloration. To be honest, I expected the dogs to be a little dirty and smelly but not like that. When I spoke to the owner the following day she didn't seem to care at all. She was very laxidasical and said "sorry we must have overlooked." What? How can you not notice a white dog with yellow paws?? I explained that this was my first experience with them and how disappointed I was. The owner didn't seem to care at all. For dog owners, your dog is your family and you entrust boarders to properly take care of your loved ones. It's extremely disheartening when there is a blatant disregard for that. I WOULD NOT recommend taking your dog to this location even for day care.
