Very poor experience with the service department at DVN Hyundai. I had the AWD warning light come on in my car numerous times. I brought the car into their service department 3 separate times to diagnose the issue but they couldn't figure out what was wrong. I was told by my service advisor the next time the light came on, to bring it in right away so they could fix the issue. A few weeks later it did, I brought the car in and was told they were too busy and to bring the car in the following week. I asked if they would just plug the car in and scan the computer as that would give an idea as to what's wrong with the vehicle. Again they refused, brushed me off and told me that they don't have time to deal with my car. Thanks for potentially sending me out onto the road with an unsafe car.
I then drove out of the dealership and went to Thornhill Hyundai. I explained the situation to them, even though I did not have an appointment, they took my car in and diagnosed the problem as a corroded wiring harness. They did not have the part on hand, but they ordered it and the issue was fixed a few days later, all covered under warranty.
Don Valley's service department has a lot to learn about customer service. They will never get another dollar out of my wallet.
