I am a little confused about the continued rave of this place. While I remember visiting Pinky's quite a while ago and getting a good burger, my recent visits have been pretty boring. The service is slow, and while people will try to explain that "it's worth the wait!" I have not found that to be true.
Waiting 20 minutes to sit down at a table at 1pm seemed crazy when I saw open tables inside and out. My last waitress seemed too busy for us, and just hurried to get our order. Our burgers looked like they came from Five Guys - they were fine, just nothing to write home about, nor were they worth the wait. It was a medium sized patty, plenty greasy, and a cheap bun. The price is OK - total cost was only a few dollars lower than getting a cheeseburger from Firebirds though - and took just as long without the flavor and ability to order it Medium versus Pinky's standard Medium-well ONLY.
I won't go out of my way to go here.
