I decided to give this place a look over since it had opened on Wednesdays (why fight the crowds on the weekend?).
Arriving at the opening bell might not be the best time to come as some vendors (can't really call them farmers) were still setting up. On the flip side, we had the place almost to ourselves! Large parking lot, but I could see it filling on the weekend.
I walked each row twice (once for each side), looking and looking. There were some interesting food items, along with the usual things (like honey) you'd find at a typical farmers market. The produce (brought in on a very large truck) looked fresh. Most vendors were marketing their items as organic.
I was hoping to find a unique Arizona birthday gift for my dad (a farmer in Washington). His statement: "if I can't eat it, I don't want it." But I couldn't find anything that would be perfect.
An ok experience. Maybe fighting the crowds on the weekend is part of the charm or coming an hour or so into the market hours would help.
