  • Went to Skydome... Oh.. I mean Rogers Centre.. (sounds pretty boring to me) to watch the Jays play last night. I usually sit in the 100's level, great view but the crowd seems to be more reserved. I prefer sitting up in the 200's, even better 500's since the crowd is more energetic and entertaining. My team could lose but having a heckler or a die hard fan can really keep things in a upbeat mood. Also, buying beer is such a rip off, especially the guys walking up and down in your section. They start off with popular cheaper beers like Bud in the first couple of innings then only to have the more expensive ones, since they know people just dont have one beer. Thats some con artist flex. Now the food always tastes better when you have a bit of alcohol in your system, but when you don't its just blah. I grabbed a regular sausage and a poutine and it was ok, I didnt even finish it. I grabbed a pretzel which was good and Coldstone's for some ice cream which wasnt bad either :) Also, now in the 200's level they removed the restaurant and converted it to a "standing area". Its a great area if you are someone who constantly needs to be moving and a easier way to catch a HR. Overall, I like coming here to watch my games but the food needs to be better and the pricing flex is ridiculous.
