  • They are the best. Bar none. Hands down. Without a doubt. & any other superlatives that could possibly come to mind. I called around 11am on Thursday, close to tears, as my girl was in obvious pain - favoring her back leg and even falling down when she put weight on it. My regular vet (Atrium Animal Hospital) couldn't work her in until 3pm and the place down the street (Charlotte Natural Animal Clinic) wasn't answering the phone. Completely unacceptable - my baby needed to be seen ASAP. But at Dilworth, the lady at the desk was so kind, and when I said I could be there in 15 minutes, reassured me was no problem to work us in. Despite showing up late (we got lost), I was still immediately ushered into a room and speaking with Dr. Berman within 10 minutes of arrival. Polite, gentle, yet extremely thorough during the exam, he patiently answered all of mine and my brother's questions about the diagnosis; taking the time to provide additional literature and offering a free follow-up should she not improve, plus providing his personal contact information if I had any further questions. I also liked that he had reviewed my girl's records from Atrium prior to speaking with us. Additionally, they are the only vet I know who does an up front estimate of services rendered, prior to any exam. Afterwards, they tally up your total in the room, rather than out at the front desk. The building itself is clean, well-appointed, and charming, with plenty of parking in the back. I will definitely be back, this is my new vet. ...& just to close the loop, my girl is on the mend & feeling MUCH better :).
