  • UPDATE: I went back and saw Dr. Lupovic about my issue w/ 2 of the 4 fillings I got from Dr. Elena Otrocol and how they were still painful MONTHS after they were filled. He started joking around about how "They're cheap fillings from CHINA" (which to me a) was not funny, and b) borderline racicst?) I told him "it's not really funny, this is my mouth you're joking about". He tried to be serious but the overtone of "joking around" really put me off. Like your so called "dentist" has totally messed up my mouth and you're making jokes about products from China? He proceeded to tell me that there WAS a real issue w/ my fillings first of all, the cavities were so small they didn't even really NEED fillings in the first place, and 2nd of all, apparently 2 of the 4 fillings that were hurting are because the dentist who did the fillings (Dr. Otrocol) messed them up and let some moisture get in them when she was doing them. He proceeded to tell me he's gonna file them down a bit and then if they're still hurting I can go back and get them re-done free of charge by him. HOWEVER, he is really creepy and his weird jokes and demeanor put me off. I don't think I will go back to him to fix them even if it is free because I don't trust these people at all. He proceeded to tell me that this "mistake" only happens in 10% of cases and that it's very rare and 90% of fillings are fine. I'm like, yeah well I had 4 fillings, 2 of them are messed up, and that means only 50% of them were done correctly. He's like pretty much making fun of me/laughing when he says "yes well in your case it's 50%" I honestly feel to report these people to the better business bureau!!! I got a new job w/ benefits so I'm gonna actually just pay another dentist to fix this mess in my mouth. Up until now I only had 3 other fillings in my whole life EVER so I just stand 100% behind the fact that this office is full of crooks and shoddy dentistry. STAY AWAY AND AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! on a sidenote, if anyone can recommend a very good dentist in Toronto please shoot me a line on Yelp!!!!! I am open to suggestions!!! Thanks!
