| - So, I've been going to Sparkle Nail Bar since August 2015. As is usual for most customer service oriented businesses, the service starts out GREAT, and then once you've been going for awhile, everything starts to slack off. I always get a gel mani/pedi, always. I pick the color and the same goes on nails and toes. Usually, the manicure lasts about three weeks, the pedicure a bit longer. In March, I got a bad mani job, and two on my right hand popped off. I sent a picture and was told to make time to come in so they could fix it. I don't have time to come back over so it can be fixed, I want the job done right the first time. I'm paying good money, and tipping well - I just want the job done right. Well, in April I went back and they didn't charge me for the manicure to make up for it. Fast forward to my June appointment - again, withing three days I lost one fingertip on my right hand, and both my big toes are scuffed. It's sandal and flip flop season, so we can't blame boots and pumps! I messaged Sparkle and the response was, make time to come by so we can fix them. Nope. My combined service of gel mani/pedi costs $85. Yes, $85. Plus a $10 tip each for the manicurist and the person doing my pedicure. I appreciate the offer to 'make it right', but I'll look for a nail salon where they can get it right the first time.
