wasn't too excited to try this place but was pleased with my experience. My dad and grandma were first timers shabu shabu and the staff kindly explained the menu along with a demo once the food arrived.
SHABU SHABU is japanese hot pot where thinly sliced proteins are dipped into a boiling pot of broth.
Their choices of broth included spicy miso, sukiyaki, tonkatsu or traditional shabu shabu.
The dipping sauces were on point: goma( sesame base), ponzu ( citrus soy), and swisher ( like teriyaki), each mixed with green onions, chili powder, and daikon.
Their brown rice is good and also refillable, along with the hot pot of broth.
I would definitely come back and maybe try their sukiyaki broth which is served with a raw egg on the side to dip the meat in.
