| - I have been here to get my haircut a total of 5 times by Bong. I don't get my hair cut often, just whenever I feel like I need one, maybe once a month. The first three were really great and exactly what I wanted. The 4th haircut I asked him for a part, short on sides and long on top. He cut short all around, not a part in sight. I huffed and told him this is not what I wanted but I'll live and went on my way.
The 5th haircut... My hair had grown out quite a bit, as it grows fast. This time I didn't want any mistakes so I made it VERY CLEAR to Bong that I wanted a part and to keep it lengthy on top and a little bit shorter on the sides. I was VERY specific. And he said OK. We did a bit of chit chatting during the cut. The pacers cavs game was playing on TV. He stopped at least ten different times to watch what was happening. There were a few different times he stopped to look at his phone. When I got into the chair, the 2nd half of the Pacers Cavs game was about to start. When we were done, the game had just ended. It took an entire second half of a basketball game to cut my hair. Guess what? Not a part in sight. Instead, he felt like buzzing it all around and leaving the top kind of short; military style.
An hour and forty minutes to f#@& up my hair and it doesn't even look nice. I told him about my frustrations as politely as I could and told him I felt like he wasn't paying attention. He said, verbatim, "Yeah, I wasn't paying attention." and then he looked back at the TV. Not even an apology. He just said, "It'll grow out." F&@#ing lol.
I'm not coming back here again. There are other barbers but I won't bother.
I hear the other guy is really great though. I would definitely think twice about going to Bong. I won't reveal anything but he's got some issues currently, and another persons hair is the last thing on his mind. No excuse.
Pretty sure he had money on the Cavs too even though he said he didn't bet. Why do I think so? He told me that he hates the Cavs because every time he bets on them, he loses. By itself it may not mean much, but consider the fact that the cavs were ahead something like 20 points in the first half. He was in a great mood. As the second half continued, he became really quiet which is not like him. During the second half, the cavs threw a 20 point lead and the pacers came back to win it. Pretty sure he had money on that game.
I'm clearly upset as all hell, but I'll get over it, and like Bong said, "It'll grow out."
Cheers.
