  • We were contacted by Scott Roofing as a result of a request on To Fix It website. The person who contacted us on the phone was completely professional and courteous. However, when the estimator showed it was completely different. I believe the price increased due to the location which is a senior/active adult community. I live in a 1800 sq foot home. I have a mix of tile and flat shingle roof. I really wanted my tile underlay replaced and the tile replace simply for appearance. The estimator told me (3) times he was a third generation roofer, but never mentioned how long he had been roofing, which told me nothing of his personal experience. He spend about 30 minutes on the roof as he said he would. When he returned he said my flat part of my roof was in seriously bad condition and that it is leaking. He quoted me prices for repair on my tile section of $24,000 and $27,000 for the schingle section. - This is a 1800 Sq Ft. House. I actually had the roof work done by a reputable roofer for a third of the price.
