| - Yet another incident where walmart allowed someone to return an item packaged incorrectly. My daughter needed pink ballet tights ASAP because hers were torn, she could only find one pair in her size (or so we thought), they were packaged in a torn DANSKIN cardboard sleeve surrounded by packaging tape, on the front was a little girl dressed in pink, I thought to myself, this will have to do because we need them for tomorrow. We got to the counter and I scanned them $7.00 BLACK SLIPPERS. Wait, what!? I read the back and it says "not to be used as shoes" *I tell the clerk, these are priced wrong, they're pink tights wrapped in packaging for black slippers. I kid you not, she SCANS THE PACKAGING and argues that the price is right. I told her the price is for BLACK SLIPPERS and she tells me that it says SLIPPERS because you "slip tights on" I sent my daughter to get something else, we couldn't even tell if she would fit the tights because the tag had NO SIZE. She had to settle for FOOTLESS tights, and guess what? The packaging said FOOTLESS PINK Tights (they were $4.50), not BLACK SLIPPERS for $7.00. That woman was not about to tell me I was right. Watch how things are packaged people, you'll get ripped off and they don't care. Customer service is dead. I would've been fired for arguing with a customer when I worked as a cashier.
