  • I just walked the .6 mile trail around the park 3 times today. This is close to my work so I can go and walk around the park during my lunch. Today was a beautiful day to enjoy the weather. Hessel park is 26.9 acres with a .6 mile walking trail around it. Inside the park are various places to sit and eat, a tennis court and a play area for kids. In the summertime the play area has a water feature in the playground so the kids can get wet. There is also a good mix of shade and sun areas. Great place to walk on my lunch. I dropped a star because sometimes there are bus loads of high school or middle school kids that take over the trail. Depending on the time of day and time of year.
