  • Sal's has been around for a while and a go-to place for anyone who enjoys electronic beats - dnb, dub, house, etc... Not too long ago Sal's went through a renovation and ever since then I've noticed the place go downhill. The vibe changed along with the type of people that you'd find there. A lot of the long time fans of the place stopped going after the renos turned Sal's into a bar resembling your mom's basement, complete with neon signs everywhere. So tacky. Terrible design tastes aside, they have stayed true to their music which is their only redeeming quality now. What used to be the place to be on a Friday or Saturday night is now a last thought and the place I'll stop by if I'm nearby and there aren't any better options.
