| - My friends and I, four people total, went to La Ronde on Tuesday July 12th and we felt that the park was not worth the $200 we paid for it. First of all, it took us over 45 minutes of waiting to enter the park. As it was burning hot we tried to look for some shadow while waiting in line. Unfortunately there wasn't any, and to make matters even worse, there were no drinks available until after entering the park.
The staff at the entrance wasn't aware of the tickets we bought right in front of them at the ticket booth so even that took us some more time before we finally got in. We did not receive a map of the park and McDonalds staff couldn't help us out when we asked about ATM locations across the park. Not to mention the McDonalds service after ordering a simple Big Mac and some fries (FOR A $11.40 PRICE!). After waiting for over 5 minutes, while the 10+ visitors behind me already received their food, I finally, after reminding them twice, I finally received my order.
So let's move on to the rides. The first one, Goliath, was a joke. We had waited for over 2 hours and 10 minutes (again, in the burning sun) only to figure out the VR experience was a massive let down.
Fast forward. As the day progressed, rides slowly got worth the wait, but that was only because the park became less and less crowded later that day. I guess the main complaint here would be that queue times are WAY out of control, probably due to the fact that a lot of the staff is very young and uninformed.
Park was pretty clean though. Overall I'd probably recommend this theme park on days when it's not as crowded. But still, as for the rides, it's probably one of the most boring ones I've ever been to. Also nearly broke my neck twice in two different rides, which still kinda hurts.
Sorry. Not visiting again.
