A few friends of ours kept mentioning this place so we decided to check it out one day. We walked in and there were 2 women standing by a computer in the back, we stood awkwardly just inside for a bit before deciding to walk back there and ask to be seated. The decor is a bit tacky for my taste and the place is pretty small.
I have to say that their specials are awesome. The 3 rolls for $20 is a steal! However, it only comes with 1 miso, which would have been nice to know when we ordered it. We weren't impressed with their miso. We ordered a Las Vegas roll, 2 Rainbow rolls, salmon and yellowtail sashimi. The rainbow roll was good, the Vegas roll had shrimp in it, which is really odd. My husband's allergic to shellfish so we're usually pretty good about subbing in different things. Thankfully I tried the Vegas Roll first. It wasn't something I'd order again. The salmon sashimi was decent, their rice was a bit overcooked and had too much vinegar in it. The yellowtail was exceptional, some of the best we've had actually.
All in all we'd come here again during happy hour, but I wouldn't pay full price for anything but the yellowtail.
