| - Have you ever had a dream you knew (deep down) was nearly impossible to achieve, but went for it anyway, in the hopes that a miracle may just present itself? Well, it happened to me. I am a junior high English teacher, and responsible for a particular portion of our 8th grade promotion ceremony called The Rose Ceremony, a time when each kid chooses someone special, makes a small speech, and presents a rose. I wanted to do something special this year and have the speeches filmed. Knowing it was probably a long-shot and not something I could afford, I reached out to David anyway, thinking maybe he could help me out or point me in the direction of someone who could. He responded to my inquiry almost immediately, and soon we were on the phone, discussing ideas. During the conversation, I kept thinking to myself "please let him give me a deal on this service, I'm not going to be able to afford all of this!" Just as I was about to ask about cost, he explained that he would do this pro-bono as he had a soft spot for teachers. I immediately burst into tears on the phone. I could not believe the kindness of David. He arrived at school early, filmed each student, put the video together, and set it up on my Youtube page so that I could share the video with my students - should they want to show it to any family members unable to make it to the ceremony.
David Marsh is one of the kindest, most generous, professionals I've ever had the pleasure to meet and work with. He went above and beyond my expectations, creating a special gift each of my students will have forever. I am forever grateful for David and what he did for my students. If you need someone to not only film a high-quality video for you, but also be prompt, courteous, professional, friendly, and passionate about his craft, David is the man for you.
I am proud to know him and hope to work with him again.
