  • If you're located in Henderson and want a taste of nature (without having to travel to Red Rock) then this is your place. There are so many trails and paths to take - it's understandable if you were to get lost during your time here. The views here are quite nice, though. I would definitely recommend this place for a photo shoot because you'd have no idea this was located in Las Vegas. There's a "river" and several ponds through out the park. Just follow the sound of running water and you'll be able to locate them. I would so love to rate this park a full 5 stars, but they don't allow dogs! =( Can you guys keep a secret? I brought my dog to this park anyway ONLY because I had no idea dogs weren't allowed and we were already there... There was no way I was going to drive another 35 minutes home just to drop him off. My final verdict is that if you're debating whether to visit here or not.. JUST DO IT. It's kind of nice to trick your mind into thinking you're not in Vegas for an hour or so =)
