  • I had so much fun volunteering here. All these years I've lived in Charlotte and I never knew this facility was year around and the hub for Samaritans purse . How cool is that? I helped quality check holiday gift boxes traveling to Mexico for less fortunate children . I am amazed at the generous donations many people , churches ,and organizations give for the cause . It was a blessing being able to see so many people come together to package, organize, & ship over 50,000+ shoe boxes for the holidays . I definitely want to bring my daughter back to volunteer , I know she'll enjoy it as much as I did . The site is gated , organized , and the staff is cheerful and helpful . They had chickfila and dominio's on site the day I volunteered if anyone wanted something to purchase and eat. Also , all drinks were 25cent .
