  • I remember The Beehive when it opened up in the mid 80's. I grew up on Southside and this place is kind of a historical now. When I come back into town I swing in there. Their espresso drinks are all pretty good and the food is ok. The main reason to visit this place is the atmosphere. It is very urban and hip in nature, and has a lot of personality. Each of the 3 rooms has its own feel for sure, however the last room is a smoking room and if you are not a smoker you do not want to go in there....it is gross as hell. Check it out for sure, as it is very Southside in feel.
