  • Before you even read this review let me just put it out there and say stop, get off your computer and go get some frozen yogurt from this place. By the way in the words of hometown musician Drake, "you can thank me now." Basically here's how it goes at YoYo's, you'll walk in and see some self serve frozen yogurt machines. Grab your cup/bowl and just go for it. Each station of frozen yogurt has signs above them letting you know what the flavour is. Cool thing is there are 3 dispensers to one machine so you can have either one or you can have a "twist" which is the blend of the two flavours. I should mention using these machines are a little bit daunting if you haven't used one before but the staff there are friendly and will help you out if necessary. Also, the signs that indicate the flavour also have the nutritional facts listed if you like to know that information before hand. You can fill you cup/bowl as much or as little as you like which is one of the reasons why I really like this place. It's in your hands so you don't feel like it wasn't enough or there's too much. You can also ask the staff to try a flavour if you're unsure about it too. Which is super helpful if it's your first time or you're reluctant on trying a flavour. Once this step is complete you can head over to the topping bar to dress your yogurt. They have everything from candy to fruit and everything in between. You don't have to put a topping but it kinda makes you feel like a kid again so I like it. Now you may be thinking "but hey Victoria how much does it cost?!" Well here's the beauty of it all, you pay by weight. Depending on how much yogurt you want and amount of topping you put on it will translate into the cost. They have this Yoyo card too and for every dollar you spend you get a point. Once you've reached 55 points/spent $55 you'll save $5.50 on your next visit. I guess this works out really well if you got there often or if you treat your friends when you go but you really have nothing to lose if you do get the card. If you want a personal suggestion I had the Fruit Punch and Pink Lemonade. The Fruit Punch wasn't my favourite of the two but it was good. I loved the Pink Lemonade though and would defiantly have it again. I sprinkled coconut shavings on it and the two were surprisingly great together! I'll be heading back to Yoyo's in the future!
