  • Canyon Meadows theatre is great for a night out. The theatre is very good for a "cheap" teature in Calgary. It's only $5 for a movie at any time (i.e. matinees are the same). They receive movies that are a stitch older, but they are relatively new-ish still. My only complaint is the sound. It seems that it could use some maintenance on the sound at the theatre, but otherwise, the theatre is clean, the picture is great, and the movies are new-ish. It's a great way to spend an afternoon or evening.
